As an emergency room nurse and charge nurse, my job was to walk into a room, cut through the noise, and understand what was actually happening beneath the surface. To stay calm when everything was loud and to lead when the stakes were real.

The instinct never left. It just found a new home behind the camera.

I started Sojourn Creative because I kept seeing the organizations doing genuinely important work, with no way to show it. Whether directing a donor film for a nonprofit or a brand documentary for a retail company, the approach is the same: find the real story, build around the real person, and let the truth do the work.
