The Missionary is a five-minute film about Mayara, who stepped into leadership of her congregation in Brazil after her husband passed. We filmed it with Pioneer Missions Global and Fellowship Bible Church while their communities raised the support to build the permanent church home he had envisioned.
The film went on to win two festival awards. What the judges rewarded is the same thing supporters respond to: a true story, told with care. No script, no staging, no ask until the story has earned it.
